Privacy Policy
Pending legal review. This document is a working draft based on standard practice for a contracting business. It must be reviewed by counsel and have the placeholder business details replaced before launch.
What we collect
When you request an estimate we collect the information you give us: your name, company, email address, phone number, the property address, details about the work, and any photographs you choose to attach. We also record which contact method you prefer.
Our hosting provider automatically records standard technical information with each request — IP address, approximate location derived from it, browser type, and the pages visited. We use analytics to understand how the site is used in aggregate.
Why we collect it
- To prepare and send you an estimate, and to contact you about it
- To carry out work you engage us for
- To detect and block automated abuse of the estimate form
- To understand which pages and services people find useful
What we do not do
We do not sell your information. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We do not send marketing email to people who only asked for an estimate.
Who processes it for us
The site runs on Amazon Web Services, which stores submissions and delivers our notifications. The estimate form uses Google reCAPTCHA to block automated submissions, which means Google receives information about your interaction with the form. Address suggestions in the form are provided by a third-party geocoding service, which receives only what you type into the address field. Estimate requests are also sent to HubSpot, our customer relationship system. Each of these processes data on our behalf under their own terms.
How long we keep it
Estimate requests are retained while the opportunity is active and for a reasonable period afterwards for our business records. Technical logs are retained for 90 days.
Your choices
You may ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Contact sales@nohanconstruction.com and we will respond within a reasonable time. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights under state privacy law.
Children
This is a business-to-business service. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date below. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
